About this camera

The first Malleefowl Live Camera was installed in the 'Mallee Exhibit' at the Adelaide Zoo in 2017 — a collaboration between NMRG and Adelaide Zoo. The exhibit housed two Malleefowl as well as numerous other mallee birds.

While the live camera was interesting for observing Malleefowl behaviour, the birds were in captivity and their behaviour was modified accordingly.
